Peace on Earth... LOL!

I was in the Market the other Day, standing at the deli counter after Kickboxing. The Deli Manager was there speaking with a food rep, and making orders. After a minute the rep noticed I needed help, and being a salesman, and witnessing they weren't doing great customer service by ignoring me. His opener was "Sorry buddy, we were just wrapped up a conversation about world peace, do you have any solutions?" With my deadpan face, I replied, "Yes I have two solutions." Both the Manager and the rep, looked up with surprise on my fast retort. "What are they?" the rep replied. I said, "First, get ride of all of us. You'll have world peace in that instant, and the world will continue just fine, without us." They Both laughed and said how true that would be. The rep said, "OK wise guy, what's your second solution?" My second solution which is the real nugget, "I would remove all words of scale; Right and wrong, Better or Worse, Perfect, all words that create pathways for judgment in one's own mind causing self-punishment, and words that allow others to judge another." Removing the words that create scale between people and ourselves, removes punishment and shame. I work often with clients whose thinking is so wrapped in scales, that their minutes are filled with self-judgment and self-punishment, to the point of addiction to that thought process. So my offering is to help create practices that relieve that habit of thinking.
